Yet another year begins for us all. From us here at Attic, we wish you all happiness in the coming months - you deserve it. As we think on our new beginnings and fresh starts, here are a few of our own New Years Resolutions.
Get up earlier so that I have a more relaxing morning before I go to work.
Having more time in the morning can significantly reduce the stress you feel all day. Wake up early and have a decent breakfast to prepare yourself, practice a little mindfulness and you'll find your other aspirations are within reach. Try giving yourself something to do in the mornings that you really enjoy to get yourself out of bed.
Using more homegrown produce in my cooking rather than buying takeaways.
There's nothing quite like a home cooked meal, and why not make it even better with home grown veg? Even with limited space there are things you can grow, saving some spare change and bringing brilliant flavours to your table.

Reading brings with it an underestimated sense of calm and enjoyment. It is the perfect way to unwind after a long day and reset for another one tomorrow, whilst expanding your own understanding of the world for self betterment.
Remember, don't try and do everything at once! Take your resolutions one step at a time, gently introducing the benefits into your every day routine. Good luck and a Happy New Year!
