Our Winter Mindfulness

We know it's hard to stay mindful in our day to day lives, especially during Winter when it's cold and dark and so busy for Christmas. Here's a helping hand for us here at Attic, where we share our tips for a happy Winter for everyone.

Get up early in the mornings

As it gets dark so soon these days, try to wake up earlier and soak in that sun while it's there. Spend a few minutes just sitting and enjoying its warmth through the windows, maybe with a cup of tea or some incense burning.

Just keep knitting

Having something creative to do during the colder months can really stave off the winter blues. Knitting is a wonderful craft to learn and given time it can be very rewarding. It's also very useful this time of year as you can knit hats and scarves for you or for Christmas gifts for friends!

Light candles everywhere

They bring light and warmth into any space, providing an ample substitute for the sun as it grows colder. Pick and choose your scents, mix it up by making your own and let the candles add colour and happiness to your home.
